January month was a winter vacation for the college. Presently the College is running with the different level of classes. 1st year students are doing 2nd Semester, 2nd year students are doing 4th Semester and the 3rd year students are doing 6th Semester. There are total of 41students, out of which one is International student, 2 are SAARC student and the remaining 38 are local students.

“Hearty Welcome” to the Vice Chancellor



All the students and the faculty members of SRIC has given “Hearty Welcome” to the Vice Chancellor, Prof.Dr.Hridaya Ratna Bajracharya, the Dean, Dr.Manik Ratna Shakya and the Chief of Examination Controller of Lumbini Buddhist University to Sowa Rigpa International College on 31st March 2019 for Official visit.

Special Programme by Yogi Douglas and Allyssa Yap



Yogi Douglas and Allyssa Yap has visited Sowa Rigpa International College on 30th March 2019 for their great contribution towards the college. They have spent almost 5hours with the college students and the faculty members by giving a special talk on “Diet and Nutrition” and “Raise your Vibration with the Book of Healing”.

Sowa Rigpa Practical class: “Anti-Aging and Rejuvenating studies”.

2nd year students have done practical class on the subject “Health Preservation, Rejuvenation & Virilification”. During these hours, students have learnt how to prepare ‘Chulen’ based on the Sub-Topic “Anti-Aging and Rejuvenating studies”.

Letter of Memorandum

The College Director, Dr.Tenzing Dharke Gurung and the college Board members Dr.Sonam Tsering Sherpa and Mr.Tashi Phuntsok has submitted letter of Memorandum with 8 different points on behalf of Sowa Rigpa International College as well as Sowa Rigpa Associataion Nepal to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health & Polulation, Mr.Upendra Yadav at Ministry of Health & Population on 19th March 2019. The team has discussed on various issues during the visit.

Participated in the 7th Sorig Congress at Singapore



The College Director, Dr.Tenzing Dharke Gurung, the Vice Director, Mr.Raj Kumar Shrestha and the Principal, Dr.Nyima Tsering has participated in the 7th Sorig Congress at Singapore from 7th to 9th March 2019. They have given excellent award to Sowa Rigpa International College in “Sowa Rigpa Preservation and Promotion”.

Special teaching on Lungs disease by Dr.Gerrit Verhoeven

Dr.Gerrit Verhoeven from Netherlands, who is specialized in Lungs disease has visited SRIC as a Guest lecturer on 5th March 2019. He gave a special teaching on Lungs disease and as well as on Tuberculosis (T.B.).

Sunday Presentations

From this semester, we have Sunday session for half day except during the Second Saturday. During this session, students do presentation and debate on the topic related to their regular subjects.
